The time has come to part with a few special things. This is a decanter produced by the Lionstone Company in 1977 to commemorate the Triple Crown winner Secretariat winning the 99th Kentucky Derby. Roses drape across the horse's shoulders and Ron Turcotte sits proudly on his back. It measures 10.5" wide by 11" tall. These detailed decanters are becoming very scarce. There are no chips or cracks. The cork has dried out and mostly fallen apart.
The seal has been broken and the bourbon disposed of.
